In Ms (Bangladesh) (Anonymity Order Made) v Secretary of State for the Home Department [2025] UKUT 00305 (IAC), Lindsley J in the Upper Tribunal, Immigration and Asylum Chamber considered, under the tribunal’s Hamid jurisdiction, whether to refer a barrister, R, to the Bar Standards Board (BSB), following R’s citation of a false (hallucinated) authority in the grounds of appeal that R had drafted and filed.
