On April 15, 2025, the White House issued an executive order to revise the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) “… to create the most agile, effective, and efficient procurement system possible.” In doing so, the revisions will focus on removing unnecessary regulations that create barriers, are not required by statute, or are not essential to sound procurement practices.
