Job satisfaction gap found between equity partners, others at their firms, new survey says

Nonequity partners and associates at law firms are less satisfied with their jobs than equity partners, a new Bloomberg Law survey has found.
The latest Attorney Workload & Hours Survey of 1,464 attorneys and legal professionals found that about 40% of nonequity partners are satisfied with their jobs, compared with nearly 60% of equity partners. Around one-third of associates said they feel undervalued by their firms.
The average workweek for attorneys last year? Just over 50 hours per week, according to the survey.
