The District of Columbia Court of Appeals overturned the trial court’s dismissal of claims that Amazon.com engaged in illegal restraints of trade under the District of Columbia antitrust law (the D.C. Antitrust Act). The complaint alleged anticompetitive policies, including the use of most-favored nation agreements and minimum margin agreements, along with claims that Amazon engaged in monopolization or attempted monopolization (District of Columbia v. Amazon.com, Inc., 2024 WL 3893698 (D.C. Aug. 22, 2024).
