The US Small Business Administration (SBA) has issued a policy notice that revises the citizenship requirements for obtaining loans under the SBA’s loan programs under Section 7(a) of the Small Business Act (7(a) loan program) and authorized by Title V of the Small Business Investment Act (SBIA) (504 loan program). The SBA issued the policy notice to comply with President Trump’s January 20, 2025 Executive Order 14159, “Protecting the American People Against Invasion.”
