The SEC announced that it filed a joint stipulation with Coinbase Inc. and Coinbase Global Inc. to dismiss the ongoing civil enforcement action against the operators of the major crypto platform for violations of the US securities laws. The SEC has also delayed or sought to delay other civil cases filed against crypto participants and has concluded or closed a number of investigations into major crypto platforms as the agency downshifts its enforcement activities as part of the Trump 2.0 pro-crypto deregulatory initiative.
