The Lanham Act Provides No Cause of Action Between Trademark Co-Owners: Fifth Circuit


In Reed v. Marshall, the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit held that the Lanham Act does not authorize joint trademark co-owners to sue one another for trademark infringement, dilution, or unfair competition.
