The US Department of the Treasury issued a release stating that it will not enforce the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) against US citizens or domestic reporting companies, and will issue a proposed rule to limit the scope of the CTA to only foreign reporting companies. A federal district court also found that the CTA violated the Fourth Amendment’s prohibition against unreasonable searches.
