The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) announced that the deadline for a party to file an answer or other acceptable response in a Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) opposition or cancellation proceeding is extended (from 40 days) to 60 days from the date of the institution order, effective immediately.
